Who are Trowbridge Lions? The Club received its Charter in 1974 and, for more than thirty years, successive generations of Lions members have been raising funds to support local and international causes.
Trowbridge Lions Club is made up of around twenty men and women (though there are no limits on numbers and we would welcome more members!) with a very wide range of interests and backgrounds. We enjoy being Lions, partly because we have an active social programme as well as our charitable activities. It is fair to say that while we take our charitable projects seriously, we take a much more relaxed view of ourselves! If you are interested in joining us please contact us at the address below and we will invite you along to one of our meetings to tell you a little more about the club.
As a Club we are assisted by a group of dedicated helpers and friends. These people, some of which are our partners, work colleagues and friends, are a valuable assets to our club. Without there help and assistance it would be impossible for use to undertake may of our fundraising, community and charity commitments. If you feel that you are not able to commit to being a full member of Trowbridge Lions but would like to offer some time please contact us at the address below and a member of the club will contact you.
Our Club is part of a much larger worldwide organisation, so we define who we are in terms of Zones, and Districts, and so on. The Lions Clubs of Trowbridge, Warminster, Westbury, Bradford on Avon and Gillingam, Shaftesbury and Mere (GMS) together form a Zone. In fact we are Zone C, of District 105D.
